1. The parties

This Pilot User Consent ("Consent") is between:

  • CAREER iNTEL ("we," "us"), the operator of the AI-powered job-search platform at https://careerintel.app
  • Pilot User ("you"), the natural person signing below

2. Pilot scope

In exchange for the compensation in Section 4, you agree to:

  • Complete the full Phase 1 happy-path end-to-end: signup → resume upload → AI parse + score → tailor against a real JD → ATS PDF export → save to Application Tracker → mock interview → save STAR+R story to Story Bank → Copilot chat
  • Participate in a 45-minute interview with a CAREER iNTEL founder (Zoom or in-person), conducted within 14 days of completing the happy-path
  • Grant case-study consent as described in Section 5

3. Term

The pilot term is 6 months from the date of signature. After 6 months, your account converts to the Free tier unless you separately purchase a paid subscription.

4. Compensation

CAREER iNTEL will provide:

  • 6 months of Pro tier access ($19/mo × 6 = $114 USD total value)
  • No additional payment is required for the pilot term
  • Pro features remain active for the full 6 months even if you withdraw consent (Section 6)
  • After 6 months, the comp does not auto-renew into a paid subscription — you must explicitly opt in

5. Case-study consent

You consent to CAREER iNTEL publishing a case study based on the 45-minute interview transcript and your usage data. Specifically:

  • We will draft the case study (~1500 words) from the interview transcript + your aggregate metrics (applications generated, interviews landed, time-to-first-interview)
  • You review the draft before publication. We will not publish anything you have not approved in writing
  • The case study may be published on https://careerintel.app/customers/<your-persona-slug>, our marketing materials, and in social-media posts
  • You may use a pseudonym + initial-only identifier if you prefer (e.g., "Aisha O." instead of full name)
  • The case study will identify your career-context category (entry-level, career switcher, etc.) and outcome — never your employer, exact title, or compensation amount unless you explicitly approve

6. Withdrawal of consent

You may withdraw consent at any time by emailing [email protected]. Upon withdrawal:

  • We will remove any published case study within 30 days
  • Your 6-month Pro tier comp remains active for the full term
  • Your account data is retained per the Privacy Policy and standard delete flow
  • Withdrawal does not affect any case-study content already shared externally (e.g., quoted in podcast appearances) but we will not actively continue to share

7. Data use during pilot

All data you submit during the pilot is governed by our standard Privacy Policy — including:

  • AI-improvement training is OFF by default; we will not enable it on your account without separate explicit consent
  • You retain full GDPR / NDPR / CCPA rights (access, delete, export, restrict, object)
  • Your data is processed only to deliver the service + the pilot scope above

8. No additional obligations

Beyond the pilot scope in Section 2, you have no obligations:

  • No commitment to purchase after the 6-month comp ends
  • No commitment to provide additional testimonials beyond the case study
  • No obligation to refer others to CAREER iNTEL (referral program is voluntary)
  • No restriction on using competitor tools simultaneously

9. Confidentiality

You agree to keep confidential:

  • Any pre-release product features shown to you during the pilot
  • Any pricing, business plans, or strategic information disclosed during the founder interview
  • Any technical implementation details (e.g., AI model selection, prompt versions)

This confidentiality obligation survives termination of the pilot.

10. Liability + indemnity

CAREER iNTEL's standard Terms of Service Section 13 (limitation of liability) applies. The pilot relationship does not create additional liability or indemnity beyond the standard terms.
